The 2012-2013 collection of Bataleon snowboards and outerwear is now waiting for you in our shop. About seven years ago, Bataleon-founder Jorgen Karlsen invented Triple Base Technology. This means that the base of the tip and tail of boards with this technology is not flat, but divided in three parts. The edges of the board are slightly lifted, which gives you more forgiveness in landing jumps and prevents the board from catching edge when you don’t want it to. The technology also provides more speed, more pop and more control in icy conditions. Bataleon says that Triple Base Technology is the future of snowboarding and they have already convinced us. More technical details on Triple Base Technology can be found at the Bataleon website, but the best way to really discover the advantages is to just try it yourself. But Bataleon boards do not only ride great, they look great too. Danny Kiebert, a Dutch snowboarder and a good friend of us, designs the original and colourful graphics.
