Thrasher Magazine is a monthly publication focusing on skateboarding and the skateboarding lifestyle. Thrasher was founded in 1981 by Kevin Thatcher, Fausto Vitello and Eric Swenson. The mag consists of articles, skateboard photography, interviews with professional skateboarders, music journalism and well-known segments like Firing Line, Double Rock and Hall of Meat. Nowadays, the magazine is supplemented by a popular website with various features, articles and videos. Thrasher also has a clothing line that you can find at Revert. The clothing line consists of T-shirts, sweats and hoodies with prints inspired by skateboarding, music and art. Iconic prints that return in every collection are the Skate and Destroy print, the Flames logo and the Skate Mag logo. Every year, Thrasher gives out the title Skater Of The Year, the most respected award in skateboarding. The title is awarded to the skater who has received the most votes Thrasher’s readers.
