Plan B Skateboards can be ordered in our online shop. Plan B is a brand by skateboarders, for skateboarders. Mike Ternasky founded the company in 1991, because he was dissatisfied with the direction the big companies had in mind with skateboarding. Pro skaters like Rodney Mullen, Danny Way, Mike Carroll and Colin McKay soon followed him to Plan B, and formed skateboarding’s first “dreamteam”. Plan B skateboards and clothing quickly became loved for their innovative graphics and cutting edge skate videos. In the early 90s, Plan B was the biggest independent skateboard company, and a big inspiration for a lot of starting enterprises. Sadly, Mike Ternasky died in 1995 in a car accident, which led to the demise of the brand. Plan B made a comeback in 2005. Danny Way and Colin McKay returned to the team, accompanied by talented skaters like Paul Rodriguez, PJ Ladd and Ryan Sheckler. Nowadays, Plan B is one of the biggest skateboard companies on the market, thanks to the second dreamteam and high quality products.
