Knee guards
Knee guards for skateboarding and snowboarding are available online at Revert, skate and snowboard specialists since 1995. Knee injuries are very common amongst skaters and snowboarders, but the right knee guards can prevent a large part of knee injuries. A good knee guard absorbs the impact of a fall and prevents fractures, scrapes and bruises. Skateboarders often use knee guards with hard plastic plates, with which they can slide after a fall so the fall has less impact. The better synthetic plates are flexible, longwearing and don’t break as easily as cheaper ones. From the inside, the guards are soft, so they are more comfortable to wear and have a better shock absorbtion. Knee guards for snowboarders are soft and can be worn under your snowboard pants. Even when you don’t fall, guards are comfortable, because during snowboarding, you spend a lot of time resting and sitting on your knees. For both sports it is important that the guards are being kept in place, that’s why most guards have to be put on like a sock.
