Good boots increase your riding pleasure, because they give you ultimate board control, support your feet and ankles so reduce impact. Furthermore, boots should be breathable, insulating and quick-drying to keep your feet dry and warm. When buying boots, we always recommend to buy them one size bigger than your regular shoe size. Of course, this varies per brand and depends on your personal preferences. You should also consider what type of boarder you are. Are you more of a freestyler or a freerider? More flex equals better freedom of movement, more support equals response for powering through turns. So for freestyling, you should take flexible boots, while for freeriding you should opt for a pair of stiff and supporting boots.
